Faehiriins chuckled, "Well, you have your years ahead of you, my own young years are far behind me."

She squinted at him, rocking a little bit in her chair. "How old 'r you anyhow?"

A grin spread across his face, "To be precise, in human years I am far older than you could even imagine, in my peoples years I am 259......which in a lifetime age sense or what humans deem "normal" lifetime....about 45."

She tilted her head to one side. "Don' look it."

"I am not sure if that is a compliment or your sayin' I look older." he said, grinning.

(*Holding defibrillator paddles* CLEAR! *FBZZZT*)
Emerald looked around, wiping down another glass. Things seemed to have calmed down a bit now- the drunk and the spider-guy seemed to be chatting amiably, and the other patrons were sitting quietly with their drinks. But even she knew the peace wouldn't last forever. This was, after all, a bar of all worlds.

(((I'm going to humanize my Neopets for this one.)))
The door suddenly banged open and somebody bounced inside, flailing his arms in a clearly undignified manner. "WHASSUUUUP, PEOPLES?!" the sixteen-year-old boy yelled, grinning at everyone in the tavern. He looked like a total idiot, with his orange jacket-tshirt lopsided and his silvery-blue hair stuck up in all directions - but his deep blue eyes sparkled with life.
A girl one year younger staggered into the tavern after her brother, finding it very difficult to walk in her new high heels. "Calm DOWN, Sky!" she hissed, looking around wildly with coppery eyes. "Now the whole tavern will think you're a mental patient! ...Then again, it IS called The Drunk Squirrel," she added somewhat confusedly, taking out a little handmirror from the pocket of her mini skirt and peering at her own flawless reflection. "Oh God... is my hair all right?" she muttered half to herself, fingering at her blonde curls.
"I keep telling you, you look FINE, Aarazell!" the boy said, taking her by the arm and pulling her towards the bar counter. "You're way too self-conscious."
"Shut up, you moron!" she retorted, annoyed. "I am NOT!"

Emerald raised a brow at the pair that had walked in, but couldn't help a smile.

The boy looked at Emerald and smiled widely, leaping up to the counter like an excited puppy. "Hiya!" he said cheerfully. "I'm Skylas, bit of a weird name, but you can just call me Sky. Everyone does. And this is my sister, Aarazell," he continued, nudging his sister.
Aarazell glanced up at Emerald. "Hi. Please excuse my hyperactive brother," she muttered, glaring back at Sky, who was clearly unaware of his sister's gaze.
"I'll just have a root beer," Sky grinned. "Oh, and put one of those umbrella things in it. What would you like, sis?"
Aarazell squinted at the dusty menu behind the counter, her perfect eyebrows in a slight frown. "Um... I don't know..."

Emerald pulled out a mug for the root beer, putting some ice in it while she waited for Arazell to order. "Whatever you want, I'm pretty sure we have it," she assured.
