<<< I'm thinking that it might be time to put this one to bed (at least in the sense of a "main RP" and begin anew. It's had a good, long run, nothing to be ashamed of there. Other people on other RP boards who've taken a look at this are astonished that it's carried on so long.>>> ((I'd have no objection to that; it has had a good run. I'll admit my characters, besides perhaps Shawn, have pretty much withered away in regards to being involved in any kind of plot. It makes me hate the fact my schedule does not allow for more time. Maybe in 3 weeks, when school's out, it would be different. But if you want to shut down and restart, that's fine by me. I'll just tag along when I can.))

(((((OOC: I personally liked Fabrizio because he was so easy to work with and actually took part in some of the events that had happened. Besides, Rosa seemed pretty useless without him when I reintroduced her.
Maybe when Eva and I wrap up that last scene with Ebony and Susan, the RP will shut down. Perhaps for awhile, not sure how long, until we can start afresh with a new storyline that gives more involvement to the folks of Radiator Springs.)))))

"You're right, Ebony." Susan nodded. "It's the present and future that really matter." She looked upon her children. "I have two wonderful children, and ultimately, they are what really matter."

Ebony nodded sagely, "As my twins are what really matter to me. Start over and make new memories. Good ones. And not only with your family, but with new friends."

...I personally liked Fabrizio because he was so easy to work with and actually took part in some of the events that had happened. Besides, Rosa seemed pretty useless without him when I reintroduced her... ((I miss playing him. But I did like the idea that he would stay in Watersford for a while to continue patching things up, while Rosa would return to RS. It made sense. There was the aero rally mentioned on page 12. We could always stick that where it would be needed. New Beginnings - do we have ideas as to when it would take place? Full Circle took place five years in the future, as I recall. If we're tossing out storyline ideas at the MC RP Brainstorming thread, I may have one that could tie in with your Purists concept. More details to be found in my post in that thread.))

<<< The aero car rally could be an RP in itself, and have a definite beginning and end, like the race RP's. I don't want this to drag on. >>>
"You're right." Susan said at last.

(((((OOC: Okay, hopefully my last post on this RP ever and then it could be archived. And I agree, this RP has gone on long enough. It was fun, I admit, but now's the time to move onto other RPs.)))))
"Then let's see what new memories we can create with our families and friends," Ebony urged Susan, "And have fun doing so. No more worries. And go and get a new paintjob if you want and become a new you."

"No time like now, eh?" Susan glanced towards Ramone. "Well," she turned in his direction, "here goes nothing."
"Go for it, mom!" Dallas grinned.
A silver-blue classic Caprice smiled from under the diner's eaves as she viewed the fire engine tending his plants. The water was as clear as crystal. It was part of her, and went into everything that had ever grown here, grew here now, ever would grow.
<<< Let's raise a glass to one hell of a RP!>>>

(((((OOC: *cries* Cheers!)))))
An entry in a journal:
We've come full circle. Everyone in town started out not knowing what tomorrow would bring for any of them, but that did not mean that we'd ever look away from our destinies. I saw the determination, the dedication, the love, and the friendship that everyone had for each other and was moved by this unflagging devotion to the town.
Radiator Springs is my home now. At long last, I now have a family of my own and tons of friends who will stick with me no matter what and vice versa. I've learned a lot from those I've met and I am grateful.
One chapter of the history of Radiator Springs has closed, but another has opened with blank pages. It is time to create new beginnings, new memories, new adventures, and new friendships.
Until next time.
