Yeah, but there's still Ramone. How... does a car paint itself? :<

How does he pain himself? I didn't seem to see any other "workers" in his shop, yet he seemed to come out every morning or day in a diffrerent color...... I know the cars are flexible, but even for a human being, painting your back seems a little too hard with out help...... Or giving yourself some serious problems.

maybe he switches in between different bodies everyday, like people change clothes. I don't think it's likely though.

Me neither. He PAINTS himself, it's what he enjoys doing.

Maybe he uses a series of mirrors? That way he'd be able to see what he's doing. Actually reaching back there is another question, however...

If you all had noticed during the Route 66 sequence where Lightning was making the rounds of the town (tires from Luigi's, organics from Filmore's, night-vision goggles from Sarge's, a new paitjob from Ramone, and so on), Ramone has a hubcap attachment on his left front wheel. This is how he does his works. And not to forget his hydrualics, he could use those to lift himself to a height where he could reach especially tall vehicles.
There was also a scene where Flo went, "Oh, wouldya look at that? Ramone, Ramone." This was where Ramone was whitewashing the fence around his and Flo's home.
And one more thing, remember the tractor stampede? Ramone was near the firestation spraying yellow stripes on the new blacktop. He was using a hubcap attachment here too.
So the answer to the question about how Ramone paints himself?
Hubcap Attachments Hydraulics
Does that help any?

The problem is that the hubcap attachment and his hydraulics could not feasibly reach round all of his own body. The brush seems to pretty much point in parallel with his body, and it doesn't look flexible enough to bend round.
Maybe he has some sort of frame, like an automated car wash, but he can control an array of airbrushes and control where they spray.

I thought this to. maybe like robotic arms? the same kinda things goes with Doc. He's a doctor so he'd be reaching into engines and such like. then again maybe he uses an attachment on his tyre cos he isn't actually working on himself :S

Well.... attachements might work. But here's another thought, what if some of his work is digitized. Meaning you have computer controlled airbrushes or something for those harder to reach places. I mean he's got a Von Dutch paint-job on his underside! How the hell does he do that?! So he might use and program a computerized system to do some of his work, but about 90% of it would probably be done by-hand... er.... so to speak.
But what gets me about his airbrush is that it's a double-action which is really meant for creatures with opposible thumbs. Now that's a mystery to me. My best guess is that there might be an internal assembly behind the hubcap attachement.

I think Ramone has an auto-painting device that scans a car's body and he programs it to spray at a certain interval, thereby avoiding his windows and non-painted parts. But, how did Sarge roll the flag up the pole? (or did someone address that already)
