Malcolm snapped to attention, noting the F-111. "I think so."
Blanche glided forward, lightly and quietly in a way incongruous to her size. "Pardon me, but you must be Malcolm."
"Uh, yeah, that's me." The Spitfire nodded. A deep-black Spitfire with chrome vents would be hard to miss.
Blanche had a case hanging from one of her hardpoints. A tray extended from it, revealing a small package. "These are the seeds for Jenna's mother." As an afterthought, she smiled a little to Anita and Todd.

Todd, even though he didn't fully understand, nodded as though he did.

Finding herself looking up at this stranger, Anita caught herself staring. For someone raised in a WWII-esqe community, Cold War aircraft were something of a sight to behold. Then, pulling out of the grip of enthrallment, she smiled back out of courtesy. "Hi."

"Hello." Blanche returned the greeting.
"This is Blanche Woodman." Malcolm introduced the Aardvark woman. "Friend of Jenna's mom."
"Pleased to meet you." Blanche smiled before turning back to Malcolm for a moment. "I just emailed instructions to Miriam to give to the gardeners. "
"OK." Malcolm nodded.

"Jenna Jaeger is Malcolm's significant other," Anita explained to Todd, elaborating for the uninformed Cessna. "Do you follow pylon racing at all?"
((I need to hit the sack, too.))

Todd shook his head, "No... I've never heard it sorry..." he said.

"No matter, it's not really relevant." Malcolm shrugged. "We just wanted to check up on you and see that you were OK." The Spitfire shifted his gaze over to Anita and Blanche.
"So where did this happen, Todd?" Blanche asked. She had a very low opinion of bullying behavior and wouldn't hesitate to put the run to anyone who had the bad taste to throw their weight around where she could see it.

Todd tried to remember, "I guess it was about...two-hundred yards from here." he said with an unsure shrug, "It didn't seem too far."

"It was less than a couple hours' travel," Anita put in, narrowing the possibles down. "What direction were you heading when they came after you? Westward?"

Todd shrugged, "I hadn't been really paying attention." he said.

"Todd, what kind of terrain were you flying over?" Blanche asked. "Was it flat? Hilly? Forested? Any landmarks? This is important, because the way this group is behaving is very dangerous even if they don't mean to do anything more than tease."

"Well, from what I remember... it was hilly terrain." He said, "There were a lot of clouds in the way."

Anita's brow furrowed in speculation, remembering what she had studied of topographic maps for this region. "That could be to the east of here. There are more forests to the north and west. Any further south and it begins to get pretty flat."
